I had so much fun while I was at the Americas Beauty Show! One of my favorite nights there was attending the Legacy Awards Bash. While I was there I got to rub shoulders with a few of the Keune education family. It was awesome to be able to mingle with George Alderete who is Keunes’ North American Region brand ambassador and educator. He was so sweet and humble! He complemented my S- wave hair style and was impressed that I styled all by myself. On top of that, George asked me if I would be available during the weekend to help style his models for one of his classes. Talk about being on cloud nine!

On Sunday, I made my way into the showroom and stopped by the Vidal Sassoon booth. It nice seeing some familiar faces like Traci Sakosits, North American Creative Director for Vidal Sassoon, and Richie Rivera, North American Color Director for Vidal Sassoon. Both of them took time to give me a hug and chit chat with me. Again star struck on the inside but I played it cool.

Over all I found the trip to be extremely enlightening. I stopped by all the booths that I thought where important to my business like the gentlemen hair cutting area which included brands like American Crew and Official Layrite. I also picked up an awesome airbrush kit by Temptu….which I will be offering to my bridal parties and special occasions makeup.
