Facebook Live, Instagram Live... what is it and what does it mean to you?!

Good morning my beauties! I hope you all had a wonderful New Years.

Can I just say how excited I am about how fast social media has grown. Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram are all social media platforms that we all have either heard of and/or have been using for our personal benefits. By the middle of 2015 business both small and large started using these outlets to reach their target market.

After revamping my website, I decided to dedicate a whole page to all of my social media accounts that I titled, Follow Me. Since than I have seen an increase of awareness on my Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest platforms.

With the ending months of 2016 both Facebook and Instagram started allowing us to make videos in real time!!! Again businesses start taking note. From a stylist point of view I look at this as an opportunity to start making my own videos. Over the years I have been asked to make tutorial videos about quick styling tips and blowouts. I was hesitant because I felt it would be too techy for me to film myself then upload it to YouTube and then upload it to Facebook. But with Facebook and Instagrams' new app anyone can do it!

Why should you care about all of this....because I have jumped on the Live Video bandwagon!! That's right, below I added a link to my first Facebook Live video. I want all of you to watch this and leave a comment in the video. I want you to tell me which days/times works best for you to tune into my tutorials. I want to make sure all of your are present when I go on LIVE so I can answer all of yours questions in real time. I also want you to comment about what you would like for me to address. Are there issues you having with picking out a great shampoo and conditioner? Do you have a problem with dry scalp? These are questions I have answers to but I need you to start the conversation.
